Iran producer Mastaneh Mohajer to jury Algerian event

2018 Oran International Arabic Filmfest picks Iran producer Mastaneh Mohajer as juror.

The producer of award-winning movie 'Israfil' featuring her husband Pejman Bazeghi will be among the jury members of the latest edition of the festival.

Born in 1974, Mohajer started her cinematic journey as a film editor. She has so far edited a big number of TV series and feature films.

'Ceasefire', 'Canaan' and 'Amir' are among the well-received movies that she has edited.   

Besides accolades that she won from national festivals, Mohajer has received Best Picture award from the 3rd CineIran Festival in Canada.

Launched in 2009, the film event is a recurring event which is held in Oran city in Algeria.

The 11th edition of the event is slated for July 25-31.
